Scope of doctoral studies changes to 30 ECTS
The number of credits required for a doctoral degree is reduced from 40 to 30 ECTS. The decision is in force from 1 August 2024.
Term Bank work expected of doctoral students in pre-examination phase
Doctoral students are expected to add new terminology from their doctoral theses to the Helsinki Term Bank for the Arts and Sciences from autumn 2024 onwards.
Open Science and Research Summer Conference 2024 gathered open science experts from all over Finland
Over 90 participants attended in person and 90 listened in Zoom a range of presentations on artificial intelligence, legal and security issues and data management, alongside the latest news on open science activities in Finland.
