About the building
Otahalli is a versatile sports complex in Otaniemi. Unisport offers a wide range of sports facilities in Otahalli: the building allows a wide variety of sports from gym to group exercise classes and ball games to all sports enthusiasts. Otahalli also offers massage and personal training services. The building is managed by Otahalli Oy.
Designed by Alvar Aalto, the Otahalli sports centre was completed for the 1952 Olympic Games. The building was the largest indoor sports hall in the country at the time, with a 45-metre span of wooden beams.
