Tutkimuksessa keskitytään kehittämään uusia teollisia ratkaisuja ja innovaatioita, joita tarvitaan mineraalipohjaisia materiaaleja hyödyntävien maa- ja vesirakentamisen kohteiden suunnittelussa, valmistuksessa ja kunnossapidossa. Tavoitteena on varmistaa rakennetun ympäristön kiinteiden aineiden ja rakenteiden vahvuus, kestävyys ja pysyvyys.
