- om det inte finns alternativa sätt att erhålla data
- om arbetet minimerar antalet använda djur per forskningsstudie
- om arbetet utnyttjar metoder som minimerar djurens lidande och maximerar djurens välmående
Aalto-universitet tillåter enbart arbete som sker i sådana utrymmen och med tekniker som är ackrediterade enligt internationella standard och lokala lagar, och är granskade och godkända av de relevanta licensmyndigheterna.
