On Thursday, April 25th the 'Sustainability in consumer-oriented industries' Better Business — Better Society seminar will be moderated by Bianca Beyer Assistant Professor of Financial Accounting at the Aalto University School of Business, and Samuli Patala Assistant Professor of Management Studies at the Aalto University School of Business.

The topic of the seminar is a focused discussion on sustainability in consumer-oriented industries, such as the food and textile industries. The discussion will revolve around how consumers and corporations can impact the transition to a more sustainable society through responsible consumption of day-to-day products, and how the public sector can be of help in that.

Additionally, the following speakers will join the seminar:

• Maijaliisa Erkkola, National Nutrition Council member & Professor at the Department of Food and Nutrition at the University of Helsinki
• Emilia Gädda Finnish Textiles and Fashion Association, Chief Advisor of Sustainability and Circular Economy
• Riikka Joukio, Kesko, EVP of Sustainability and Public Affairs
• Mira Perander, Sodexo, Director of Brand & Communications and Corporate Responsibility
