Puumiehenkuja 3, which houses the School of Engineering's workshop and office facilities, is also known as K2, short for Konetekniikka 2 (Mechanical Engineering 2). The building was renovated in 2003. Puumiehenkuja 3 was completed in 1965 and designed by Jaakko Kontio & Kalle Räike.
