You Han

Prof. You Han is the Vice Dean and Excellence Professor at School of Chemical Engineering & Technology, Tianjin University, China. She obtained her Ph.D. in Chemical Technology from Tianjin University in 2008. Then she worked in Tianjin University and became a full professor in 2019. She worked with Prof. William A. Goddard III in Caltech as a visiting scholar from 2014 to 2015. 
Her research expertise is in catalysis for environment protection and energy utilization, with a focus on ReaxFF forcefield development and DFT calculations for understanding the catalytic reaction mechanism and designing novel catalysts. She has published more than 120 papers in peer-reviewed journals, including PNAS, JACS, Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., Phys. Rev. Lett., Adv. Energy Mater., ACS Catal. etc. 
She was selected as a young Yangtze River Scholar, and serves as an associate editor of the RSC journal of Energy Advances. She has received many awards such as the International Award for Outstanding Young Chemical Engineer given by the Seals of the CIESC & GACCE (2023), the National Famous Teacher in Petroleum and Chemical Engineering Education (2023) and so on.
