My research focuses on the designer-maker and the cultivation of knowledge through the physical process of making, as well as the role of materials and maker-space in reimagining the design process. I am also interested in how the investigation of perceptual space—facilitated by the creation of dynamic design objects—can unify approaches in practice-centered research while providing novel perspectives on design thinking and visual design methodologies.
