Assistant Professor
T313 Dept. Computer Science

I am an assistant professor at Aalto University, where I conduct interdisciplinary research at the intersection of humans and technology (engineering psychology).

Much of my work focuses on human-centered security and privacy, for instance developing human-centered defenses against social engineering attacks and fostering behavior change. In my research, I employ qualitative and quantitative social science methods to understand the complex relationships between people and technology.

Some ongoing projects include social approaches to cybersecurity and privacy, defenses against social engineering and misinformation.

Below, you find a selection of recent publications. In general, important publications venues include Computers in Human Behavior, CHI, ToCHI, IEEE S&P. The complete list of publications is available on Google Scholar.
