Jukka Luoma
I am interested in competitive dynamics and in the use of data and analytics in organizational decision making. My past projects have investigated the behavioral foundations of competitive interaction (e.g., managerial cognitions and organizational routines). In this area, my work has included computational studies examining how managers’ feedback-based learning shapes competitive interaction patterns over time and experiment-based research on the cognitive underpinnings of competitive responses to market entry. My colleagues and I currently investigate data and analytics in organizational decision making. My work has been published, for example, in Strategic Management Journal, Organization Science, Journal of Marketing and Harvard Business Review. I also serve in the editorial review boards of Long Range Planning and Strategic Organization.
