Programme Topics
Workshop is divided two parts:
Part 1:
This workshop will focus on joint programmes (JP, master-level, leading to double/multiple degrees) and introduce the tools and guidelines created in Unite! European University Alliance to support the development of JPs. We will also make updates on Joint European Degree.
Part 2:
This workshop aims to explore the multilingual and multicultural dimensions of Unite! What does it really mean? What should we consider when setting up courses and programmes in an international environment like ours? What actions should we take, what support should be available? Starting with a short presentation of the rationale and main points of the Unite! M&M policy, the main part of the workshop will be an interactive session focusing on international and joint programmes and responding to the specific needs of participants. This workshop is aimed at anyone interested in making Unite! a truly multilingual and multicultural academic environment.

In this workshop we will jointly discuss and workshop on the topic of wellbeing at higher education institutions. How could we support the wellbeing of academic communities? What is pedagogical wellbeing? What kind of actions support the wellbeing of students? How can we support diverse learners with creative solutions and individual study arrangements? What services do we have and how to further improve them to meet the needs of our community?
You will hear how wellbeing is integrated to Aalto's strategy and how it is visible for the whole community. You will have a chance to hear about Aalto's wellbeing services and meet some of our employees working in different roles supporting wellbeing.
