Plastics & Laser Cutting

The plastics workshop is a learning and research environment for prototyping with plastics and laser cutting.

The workshop is equipped with machinery used as teaching tools and research support in areas that require the use of plastics and digital fabrication though laser cutting. The workshop allows prototyping with plastic and the use of laser cutting and engraving machines for plastic, wood and other soft materials.

Work permits and induction training

The workshop staff organizes introductory training at the beginning of each semester or course. In order to use the laser cutters it is necessary to have previous knowledge of vector drawing.

Opening times: Mon. 13:00–16:00, Tue–Wed 9:00–12:00 and 13:00–16:00

Attention! It is only possible to use the laser cutting machines during opening times.
