University Review
The purpose of the University Review is to follow up on strategy implementation and highlight success and development needs in core and support activities of the university. The process also engages the university community in open discussion to share development ideas and good practices.
In the Review, performance is assessed using Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) against previously agreed targets and development measures. Annually changing themes, such as internationalisation, equality and diversity, and values and Aalto's way of working are addressed as part of the Review process. Results and recommendations obtained from feedback surveys and internal and external evaluations, risk assessment and other sources are carefully considered.
Under the direction of the president, the Aalto Management Team (AMT) is responsible for the review at the university level and, under the direction of deans, the School Management Teams are responsible for the review process at the school level. This extensive evaluation and feedback process is held annually during February-March.
