The Summer Job Day event brought together Aalto University students and potential employers
The 2024 Summer Job Day brought 35 employers to Otaniemi campus to showcase their job opportunities for Aalto students.
Aalto Summer Job Day is a recruitment and career event that focuses on summer jobs and thesis assignments. The event is oranised annually, usually in January. Information about next year's event will be published in December.
Summer Job Day 2024 will be organized on January 18th, 2024 between 11 am - 5 pm in the Undergraduate center (Otakaari 1).
Aalto University students are top students in their fields – arts, business, design and technology, and they are valued for both their excellent deep knowledge of their own field and the multidisciplinary approach. Summer Job Day is a great opportunity to meet and recruit our students as well as to build your positive employer image.

Aalto University students want to meet employers at the campus and they highly appreciate the opportunity to discuss career opportunities face-to-face with employers' representatives at various employer events and career fairs *). Looking for a summer job positions is high on the students’ agenda, and the competition for the best positions, and for the best talent, is fierce. The Summer Job Day is a great opportunity for recruiting Aalto students, and even for agreeing on job interviews.
The event is open for all Aalto University students and you might meet students, whom you have not targeted before, but have valuable skills and knowledge for your company at the moment! There is a wide range of study options in Aalto University, have a look!

In addition to open summer jobs at the time of the event (or summer job applications soon to be opened), at the webinar you will also be able to offer information about trainee programs and other opportunities for students (e.g. thesis opportunities and permanent jobs at the time of graduation) and discuss also career paths and future job possibilities.

The one-day fair event is organised in the Aalto University Undergraduate Center, Otakaari 1 in two floors.
All participating employers will get visibility in the event marketing. We use multiple channels, including Aalto JobTeaser, Facebook, Instagram and Aalto event pages.
Official partners of Aalto University School of Business, Aalto University's strategic partners and key employer customers of Aalto University Career Services will get the stand free of charge.
Every participating exhibitor must have summer jobs relevant for Aalto University students.

Each participating exhibitor will also receive snack and coffee vouchers with registration. The content of these will be updated closer to the fair. You can also buy refreshments, snacks or sweets in the café. Reasonably priced lunch is available in the nearby restaurant.
You may use your own furniture or constructions on your basic stand as long as the size does not exceed the given stand size. We do not recommend using walls or such, roll-ups or equivalent suite better in the space.
On ministands, only roll-ups are allowed.
The space is very dim for lighting. Thus, it is recommended that you include your own lighting fixtures, if any, to be attached on the wall or a roll-up.
We have an open WiFi connection in all Aalto buildings - "aalto open". It does not require any login information
All Aalto University students from arts and design, business and technical fields are invited to the event, and especially the students in their first years of studies. See all study options.
In 2023 we had student visitors from every school of the Aalto University. The two most represented groups were bachelors degree students and all foreign degree and exchange students. A lot of masters students from many Aalto fields visit also the event.
