Aalto BIZ formal opening

We regularly host three seminar events bringing international research to the department and connecting with industry during special topic events.

The Helsinki Accounting Seminar regularly hosts national and international guest speakers. The seminar usually takes 60 minutes and includes both presentation and discussion with our faculty. After the seminar, the faculty gets the chance to meet guest speakers privately. Since 2024, this seminar is hosted jointly with Hanken School of Economics.

The Brown Bag Seminar gives our research staff the opportunity to present early-stage papers or initial ideas in an informal and open environment.

Special Topic Events are hosted regularly in cooperation with industry partners. Latest research findings are discussed with practitioners and give our faculty the chance to expand their industry network.
