Renée B. Adams is a Professor of Finance at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford. She is a Fellow of the European Corporate Governance Institute, a Finance Department Editor at Management Science, and she co-founded and currently chairs AFFECT, the American Finance Association’s committee for women in Finance. She is an expert on corporate governance, bank governance and gender. She has published in top accounting, economics, finance and management journals including the Journal of Accounting and Economics, the Journal of Finance, the Journal of Financial Economics, The Review of Financial Studies, Management Science, the Review of Economic Studies and Strategic Management Journal. She currently has more than 13,000 cites according to Google Scholar and more than 3,200 Scopus cites. She has received grants from funding agencies in Australia, Belgium, Switzerland and Turkey. Her most recent grants are from the Riksbankens Jubileumsfond and the Jan Wallanders och Tom Hedelius Foundation in Sweden.
