Aalto Digital Creatives and Uniarts Hub pre-incubator programs culminate in a joint Creative Demo Day event held on 25 May 2023 in Musiikkitalo, Helsinki. Participants from the spring programs pitch their business ideas to the public and receive feedback from a jury of creative industry experts.
Aalto Digital Creatives and Uniarts Hub creative industry pre-incubators are supported by the City of Helsinki and are a part of Helsinki-based higher education institutions’ campus incubators network.
Prior to Creative Demo Day, AGMA Agents and Managers in the Creative Industries host their own ‘Hei, me välitetään!’ seminar for creative industry agents and managers, and those interested in the field. AGMA’s seminar addresses current issues related to international business. AGMA’s event is in Finnish.

In the jury: Helene Auramo, Prönö, Juha Järvinen, Metropolia University of Applied Sciences, and Taina Seitsara, Business Helsinki. The pitching section will be moderated by Elsa Ervasti.
Erja Lyytinen is one of the leading blues-rock guitarists on the international touring circuit. During a recording career spanning 19 years, the High-Flying Finn has released twelve studio albums as well as several live albums. Lyytinen’s musical pallet is vast, encompassing the very best of contemporary blues-rock whilst inspired and influenced by the blues greats of yore.
Lyytinen has been acknowledged for her work by her fans, peers, and the industry alike with a treasure trove of accolades. This includes being ranked #2 on Total Guitar Magazine’s “10 Best Guitarists Now” poll as well as being awarded “Best Guitarist” at the 2017 European Blues Awards.
Helene Auramo is CEO and Chief Ethical Officer & Co-Founder of Prönö. She is also an entrepreneur and Co-Founder of Slush (Europe’s biggest startup event), Zipipop (the first social media agency in Finland), and Indiedays (the first fashion blogger site in Finland).
Juha Järvinen works as innovation specialist at Metropolia UAS. He has over 20 years of experience in commercializing university-based research and development results and evaluating business concepts. He has graduated from Aalto University and holds a D.A. degree in Industrial Design.
Taina Seitsara, Master of Arts (Aalto University former UIAH), working over 10 years as a Senior Specialist among Creative Industries in City of Helsinki`s Executive Office, Economic Development Department, Business Environments Unit. Having over 20 years working experience operating in Finnish Creative Industries higher education, productization, business operations, exporting activities, CCI ecosystem development, public funding and public-private co-operations.
Elsa Ervasti (MA, FM) has coached hundreds of startups who drive digital innovations in food tech, health, education and wellness. Elsa has a human approach to coaching and she uses theatre-based methods developing entrepreneur skills. She has coached in several universities work life skills, for example: Åbo Akademi, Uniarts Helsinki, Aalto University IDBM program, Metropolia and Turku YAMK. She has also been coaching young speakers at the public speaking training program for Slush Talk The Talk.
Elsa has a dynamic and creative way of coaching pitching, stage presence and interaction skills.
Aalto Digital Creatives
The Aalto Digital Creatives pre-incubator program aims to help creative industry students, researchers and practitioners on their path towards entrepreneurship. The program focuses on projects where creativity meets latest technology. Aalto Digital Creatives program is coordinated by Aalto Startup Center and Aalto Studios.
Uniarts Hub
Uniarts Hub is a pre-incubator program that aims to support entrepreneurship in the creative sector and arts industries. The program offers a clear info package on different possibilities of entrepreneurship in creative industries as well as support in developing the participants’ own business ideas.

The pre-incubator program runs twice a year and the next call for applications will open in early June 2023. The next batch starts in September 2023.
