Drawing with eyes closed / Programming for Visual Artists
When
Where
Frieder Nake describes computational art as drawing with eyes closed. Instead of making an image, an artist would think the image. Craft rules for entire sets of infinities of works. Drawing with eyes closed exhibits generative artworks where an underlying pattern, structure, or conceptual idea is expressed as a computer program and manifested as individual samples of the infinite set of possible works. The artworks were created during the course Digital Art 1 - Programming for Visual Artists using JavaScript and the p5 library.
