Jaakko Honko (1922-2006) was the former chancellor and rector of the School of Economics. Jaakko Honko lecture series is a biennial School of Business alumni event organized by Aalto University School of Business, Helsinki School of Economics Support Foundation (fr), and Yrjö Jahnsson Foundation. Kaisa Hietala (business leader and management professional) will give a lecture at this year's event.

During the event, the Jaakko Honko Medals will also be awarded to persons who have made a significant contribution to economic research and its promotion.
