The Realm of the Senses – workshop exhibition + guided tours at Aalto Ice Tank

This transdisciplinary lecture series on art and senses included short-term workshops focused on producing artworks which draw on the topic of the lecture series, and utilize unconventional spaces to exhibit the works. An exhibition of these completed works will take place between 22.03.–31.03.22 in different locations in Otaniemi.

This elective course was organized by TAITE (Transdisciplinary Arts Studies), and the lecture series was put together by Jaana Okulov and the workshop was led by Sakari Tervo.

To visit the Ice Tank, book a slot for a guided tour using THIS LINK (max 10 persons on each tour). Tours will be arranged four times a day (12:00–14:00) between 22.03.–25.03.2022.
Accessibility
Please note that Aalto Ice Tank is not wheelchair accessible, nor suitable for people with difficulties climbing steep stairs. The visitors should also be aware that the room temperature is between -10 to -20c, and the space is windy, noisy, and floor surfaces are slippery. Detailed health & safety instructions will be presented at the beginning of each tour.
