Mikkeli Campus Library has a few copies of each textbook for required courses of the BScBA Program, which can be lent out with a library card.
We also have a collection of reading room copies of the textbooks for required courses. These books can only be read in the library.
Library card and borrowing
Some of the library material is available for loan. The loan periods vary depending on the collection. Borrowing material from the Mikkeli Campus Library collections is free of charge, as long as the material is returned by the due date.
To get our library card, activate your customer information in Aalto-Primo by signing in with your Aalto user ID and password.
After activation, you can pick up the library card from the Mikkeli Campus Library during customer service hours.
If we do not have a book you need in the Mikkeli Campus Library, we can order it from other libraries as an interlibrary loan or a copy. You can submit an interlibrary loan request by email to [email protected].
Mikkeli Campus students and faculty members can access all licensed library resources, such as scientific articles, databases, and e-books, wherever and whenever by logging in to Aalto-Primo.

Mikkeli Campus Library offers training in information retrieval skills to support learning, teaching and research activities. You can book an individual training session with the librarian by email to [email protected]
Mikkeli Campus students can print black-and-white prints (A4) in the library for free of charge.
There are a few workstations that are available to all customers. They can be used with user credentials presented by the computer.
The BScBA students can access the library outside service hours with an e-key on school days from 8 am to 8 pm. The key can be collected from the library without preorder. (You need to prove your identity with a passport or an identity card when picking up the card.)
In addition to general library services and a place to study, students can get together in the library and watch a movie or play board games. The library has acquired new books, e.g. biographies of some of the remarkable public figures to provide you with some reading also other than studying material.
