PhD Bruno Mattos has been appointed as fixed term Associate Professor position at the Department of Bioproducts and Biosystems as of 1 June 2026. The field of the professorship is Biomass Refining and Wood Chemistry.
Mattos received his doctorate from Universidade Federal do Paraná (UFPR), Curitiba-PR, Brazil 2018. After his defence, he has worked as Postdoctoral Researcher and Research Fellow in the Biobased Colloids and Materials Research Group, led by Professor Orlando Rojas, at Aalto University. Most recently he has worked as Senior Scientist at the Department of Bioproducts and Biosystems.
