The Finnish National Agency for Education (Opetushallitus) and the Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in Finland organise an annual Spring Forum (Kv-kevätpäivät) for international affairs. The Spring Forum sheds light on current activities and information on different aspects of internationalisation. The theme of the Spring Forum 2023 is Internationality in Transition. The theme will reflect the new Vision for strengthening the international dimension of Finnish higher education and research by 2035.

This annual conference is multilingual and consists of lectures, info sessions, discussion groups, and a place to network with colleagues that work at other higher education institutions. The Spring Forum 2023 will open on Wednesday afternoon (3.5.2023). The first day is reserved for network meetings and the following two days for the actual conference theme. Thursday evening will also host a conference dinner for networking and meeting colleagues after the pandemic years.

Aalto University hosts the Spring Forum for Higher Education Institutions’ International Issues 2023

The Finnish National Agency for Education (Opetushallitus) and the higher education institutions (HEIs) in Finland organise an annual Spring Forum (Kv-Kevätpäivät) for international affairs.

Collaboration

Accommodation

The cost of accommodation is not included in the registration fee (215€ + VAT 24%). Participants can reside in hotels that Aalto University has negotiated for reduced rates. For benefiting from the Aalto-quota, please book your accommodation 10.3.- 2.4.2023 and use the relevant quota codes. Please note that with the mentioned quota codes, rooms can be booked subject to availability.

The following are the hotels that Aalto University has reserved quotas:

For Radisson Blue hotels, mention the quota code Aalto23 at the time of booking.

For booking Sokos through email/telephone mention the quota code Aalto23. For online booking, mention the quota code BAALTO23.

Cancellation terms

For cancellation, please contact the Aalto Spring Forum team ([email protected]). Cancellation must always be made in writing. If your registration is canceled before 6.4.2023, the registration fee will be refunded in total. If registration is canceled between 6.–17.4.2023, 50% of the registration fee will be refunded. Later cancellations will not be refunded.

Photography

The event will be photographed for Aalto University communications and marketing purposes. If you do not want to be in the photos, please inform the photographer during the event.
