Wang Chuan Pic

Professor Chuan Wang received his bachelor's degree from the University of Science and Technology of China, and completed his master's degree and PhD degree from Yale University. After graduation, he joined the Institute of Chemical and Engineering Sciences of Singapore, serving as both a research scientist and principle investigator. Now he is a Professor at Nanjing Tech University. His research interests are focused on the catalytic applications in green chemistry and chemical engineering, covering the fields of new energy materials, environmental protection and catalyst synthesis technology. Professor Chuan Wang also focuses on industrial collaborations with companies to solve key problems in productions. He has conducted cooperation with the Inner Mongolia Chemical Co., Ltd, to develop mercury free catalysts for acetylene hydrochlorination, and technology of removal of trace iodine in salt water. And he also assisted Suzhou Hydrogine Power Technology company to develop platinum-based catalysts for fuel cells using a new continuous flow technology.
