I am passionate about combining biotechnology, data analysis, and technology to create user-centered solutions that improve learning and research impact. With a strong background in project management, I have successfully led and delivered development projects, overseeing everything from funding applications and technical implementation to dissemination and communication.
My expertise covers data analysis (Python, R), digital learning design, and chemical and biochemical/biomedical research and teaching in biotechnology (VR/360°) . At Aalto University, I have designed and implemented innovative learning environments reaching 1,500+ students annually, trained faculty members in user-centered digital pedagogy. My work has been recognized with the Aalto Open Science Award (2024) and Chemical Industry Safety Award (2025) (2025).
With experience in both academic research and applied teaching, I have designed and led projects that improve laboratory safety culture and make science education more data-driven and accessible. My teaching and research in biochemistry, biotechnology, and chemical laboratory practices emphasize safe, inclusive, and evidence-based learning environments.
Outside of academia, I contribute to public safety as a VAPEPA volunteer rescue diver, applying teamwork, situational awareness, and crisis preparedness in real-world environments.
I am particularly interested in roles that connect safety, data, and education technology to improve processes, decision-making, and human performance.
