Planning your studies

In the SSIs programme, you will follow a predetermined curriculum. On your semester at Aalto, you will complete 5 compulsory courses provided by the School of Electrical Engineering. The courses are the same for all students. In addition, you need to complete 3 credits of Finnish language courses. Please see the detailed curriculum on the "Curriculum" section.

Personal study plan (HOPS)

In practice, study planning consists of two things: selecting the content for your degree based on your interests and goals and scheduling the selected studies. The outcome of study planning is a personal study plan (HOPS), which is required from all students. The starting point of study planning is the most recent curriculum of your programme.
