Bachelor graduates of the School of Science

Students graduating from the School of Science choose their master's programme at the time of graduation. The prerequisites for entering to the Master's Programme in Engineering Physics are described in the table below:

Data Science

Engineering Physics minor, Advanced Energy Systems minor or Quantum Technology minor

Students graduating from Aalto University in another school of technology

Students who began their studies on or after 1 August 2016 You can continue your studies at master level in this programme, if you have completed either Engineering Physics minor (25 cr), Advanced Energy Systems minor (25 cr) or Quantum Technology minor (25 cr). The Bachelor's degree must be completed with the minimum grade of 4.0.
Students who began their studies before 1 August 2016 If you have completed your BSc degree in some other Bachelor's programme than Bachelor's Programme in Science and Technology at Aalto University, apply to the programme. Bachelor's degree in the field of art and design or in the field of business at Aalto University

Those having received their Bachelor's degree from Aalto University in other fields than in the field of technology, are considered to be prospective graduate students. Please see the application information page for application dead-lines, on-line forms and general information.

Changing your master’s programme in the School of Science

If you are a student of School of Science and want to change your master’s programme, first check whether you meet the criteria for starting studies in the programme. The criteria for transferring to the programme must be met in bachelor's degree.
