Timetable for studies starting in autumn 2024:
The normative duration of the Master's degree (120 ECTS) is two years of full-time studying.
Since the programme incorporates both Aalto MSc and CEMS MIM requirements, the structure and order of studies is carefully planned. In the Global Management / CEMS MSc programme, the students complete a specific part of the Programme studies including their thesis during the first year. The second year incorporates most of the CEMS Master’s in International Management (MIM) requirements and includes a mandatory exchange semester (either fall or spring term), where students complete their CEMS MIM studies. The exchange semester is registered as an International Minor in the Global Management programme, but the studies are CEMS specific.
Below you will find an example of the study plan. Example 1 is for students who go on exchange during the fall term or year 2, Example 2 is for the spring exchange option.
NOTE: Beyond the Global Management studies listed in the timetable below, in order to graduate from the CEMS MIM programme, students must also complete elective skill seminars (2 ECTS in total), a minimum 8-week international internship and fulfill the language proficiency requirements, in addition to finishing their MSc degree in Global Management.

Since the programme incorporates both Aalto MSc. and CEMS MIM requirements, the structure and order of studies is carefully planned, see here. In the Global Management / CEMS MSc programme, the student complete their specialization area studies in the first year, together with the Global Management intro course, 'Leadership and Self-Development'. The second year incorporates the rest of the CEMS Master’s in International Management (MIM) requirements and includes a mandatory exchange semester (either fall or spring term).
