Aalto University Design Factory

Design Factory serves all Aalto University schools by providing an experimental co-creation platform for interdisciplinary learning. Its open spaces, team working rooms and hands-on workshops are designed to support various courses and learning projects. The Design Factory experts of user involvement methods, creative problem solving, product design and development, CNC machining, model making, electronics and embedded systems, and 3D-printing do coach and help the students and other parties of Aalto community. 

Design Factory applies various forms of cooperation with startups, as well as with bigger industries, starting from students' learning projects to MSc thesis and EU funded research.
