Determining the name and IP address of an Aalto computer

You can use the instructions below to determine the name and IP address of your Aalto computer.

Aalto-Windows

1. Press Ctrl and F12.

Aalto-Mac

1. Open Finder.
2. Start /Applications/Aalto/Aalto Computer Info.app

Aalto-Linux

1. Open console, xterm or the equivalent, and type command:

hostname

2. Then enter command:

ip addr show scope global
