Troubleshooting for the ArcGIS Desktop application

These instructions describe known problems and solutions for them in the ArcGIS Desktop application on Windows workstations.  

If you try to use toolboxes in the ArcMap component but they complain that a license is missing

You must take the licenses of the necessary toolboxes in use, as follows:

1. In ArcMap, proceed to the menu Customize and Extensions.
2. Tick the boxes of the Toolboxes needed.
