Please make sure you have a quiet workspace. The session instructor will begin by explaining the technique's concept and provide tips to streamline your work. Please choose a study related task in advance that you'd like to work on during the Pomodoro session. The study session is conducted remotely, and you don't need to have your camera or microphone on. There is no separate registration for the events. Just join via links below.

Times and Zoom-links for Pomodoro sessions:

  • Mondays in Zoom at 10-11.30 Theses & Tomatoes(2.9.-16.12.2024 / We start with a ca 15-30 minute introduction. Check our video and read further details about Theses & Tomatoes -concept at Aalto website.)

The Pomodoro technique encourages focused work: the idea is to work intensely for 25 minutes, followed by a short break. During the break, it's a good idea to try to clear your mind from the task at hand, perhaps by stretching. Pomodoro sessions are organized in collaboration with Aalto University, the University of Helsinki, the University of Tampere, and Tampere University of Applied Sciences.
