Learning outcomes
After the course student is able to
1. work safely in laboratory
2. choose proper personal protective equipment and use safety equipment in the laboratory
3. recognize possible risk factors in the laboratory work
4. handle laboratory waste in appropriate manner
Content
General overview in laboratory safety and chemical safety. Safe working methods, warning signs, safety data sheets, protective equipment and laboratory waste management. First aid after typical laboratory accidents.

Independent study of course materials in a virtual laboratory and a digital exam.
Prerequisites
No prerequisites.
Evaluation
Digital exam. The teacher has four (4) weeks to grade the exam submissions starting from the exam date.
