Beta SPACE Gallery Exhibition Guidelines
Exhibition venue beta SPACE located at Otakaari 1, A-wing, Espoo provides the Aalto University community with a space for experimentation and reflection, without focusing on particular disciplines. The course exhibitions from Art, Design and Architecture departments are combined here with curated content from various fields, related to the University teaching, research and other activities. The architect of this elegant and beautiful space is Alvar Aalto.
Exhibition listings can be checked directly on the Beta Space Gallery calendar using Aalto community logins.

Aalto University has multiple exhibition spaces across the Otaniemi campus and the curators welcome interest from students, staff and researchers in organising their own exhibitions and projects.
With multiple spaces across the Otaniemi campus and partnership projects each year, there are always dynamic exhibitions activities taking place at Aalto. Whether you are organising, researching or visiting exhibitions, this hub provides the key information, news and resources you will need.
How can we make space for unexpected ways of looking at the world? Galleries and exhibition venues are co-produced spaces for action, bringing together the knowledge, content, vision, and passion of different agents.
Past Exhibitions in Review: 2016-2018
ClimATE is an expanded exhibition and events programme at multiple sites and spaces across Aalto University’s Otaniemi campus, showcasing research, prototypes and works of art as well as workshops, readings and screenings that discuss climate change and food systems.
The exhibition presents variations of ceramics and glass, all white.
Video installation by artist duo 55–98, Verna Kovanen and Krista Seppälä, will occupy the Beta Space Gallery in Otaniemi until 23 March.
