The University Pathway Finland programme gives international students an excellent opportunity to prepare for degree studies in Finland while studying from home. By successfully completing the programme, students have the chance to study at one of the selected degree programmes at Finnish universities. This year there is also one new progression programme option called Sustainable Urban Development, Technology. Read more about the new programme.
In 2024-2025, the University Pathway Finland programme will be taught by Aalto University, Tampere University and the University of Oulu. Acquire the tools and knowledge to understand and analyze current global phenomena from an economic perspective. Upon completion, students will possess strong analytical skills in economics along with programming and econometric expertise.
This multidisciplinary programme offers you fundamental studies in technology, providing the skills and theoretical knowledge required to create sustainable built environments. In addition, you will take common courses with students from the Social Science and Administrative Science streams of the Sustainable Urban Development programme, where you will have opportunities to work as interdisciplinary teams to solve real-life urban challenges.
Develop a strong foundation in natural sciences and engineering, with majors in Information Technology or Electrical Engineering. Under these majors you can specialize in Software Development, Signal Processing and Machine Learning, Communications Engineering, Embedded Systems or Power Engineering.
Choose from five major options - Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biomedical Engineering, or Materials Science - and customize your degree with a minor from a diverse range of options.
This program provides a robust foundation in developing algorithms for artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and mathematical thinking.
Gain a strong background in human-technology interaction and learn how information systems, software, and services can support individuals and organizations in their daily activities.
