Language Centre
The Language Centre is a joint teaching and service unit for languages and communications at Aalto University both for students and staff.
The goal of the Language Centre is to provide students and staff with such language and communication skills that give a strong foundation for success in both studies and in the world of work.

The Language Centre organises language and communication training for the university staff in collaboration with the competence development services, within the HR services of the university.
Our courses are designed to equip the participants with the language and communication skills needed for operating in the multilingual and multicultural working and teaching environments of today. Apart from courses designed specifically for staff, the members of the university staff may also attend courses primarily intended for degree students if student places are available. In addition, staff members may contact the Language Centre for individual tutoring in oral and written communication in English, Swedish, or Finnish.
