Aalto Behavioral Laboratory
ABL offers various different devices, including EEG, Eye Trackers, Thermal camera, Thermal Stimulator, VR Headset, and Data Logger for biosignals (EMG, ECG, GSR).
DAVE
Dynamic Audio Visual Environment (DAVE) is one of the three bookable rooms of ABL. The DAVE locates in the 3rd floor of Magnet House. It consists of three large video screens (250cm x 160cm) with 7680x1600 resolution and 8 audio speakers behind the screens. It resembles Virtual Reality environment with 180 degree visual angle. With the surrounding audio system, it enables source point sounds.
DAVE is part of the Aalto Behavioral Laboratory and can be booked from the anitime.aalto.fi reservation calendar. Same rules and forms apply to DAVE as to other ABL measurement rooms. Room fees can be found from the Ratings page.
There is a dedicated remote acquisition equipment for measuring biosignals in DAVE; BIOPAC (BIOPAC system Inc, USA) With several acquisition modules, you can measure remotely with ECG, EMG, GSR and accelerometer sensors.
Also all movable ABL/MAGICS devices can be used in this environment as well, including eye tracking glasses, mobile EEG, thermal cameras and video cameras for facial expression detection. All devices can be synchronized with the stimulus system.
