‘I was hanging out at my friend's place. When we could not find a Rubik's Cube we went in search of one from an upstairs neighbour. Somehow, we managed to forget all about the Rubik's Cube along the way and ended up chatting with the neighbour about skateboarding. An hour later, we had decided to establish Aalto Skate. It was a lost errand in that we never did get the Rubik's Cube, but we did manage to establish a non-profit organisation, which now has plans for next spring, including building a miniature ramp here in Otaniemi.’
