Cotton and Polylactic acid (PLA) are best applicable material for folding purposes. By pressing many layers of the material together, it was possible to produce harder material, which was suitable for folding.
The textile is folded six times after which it’s set between metal layers and baking papers and positioned into the headpress. Patterns are made with different metal grids, which are added on the material between metal layers and baking papers. The Polylactic acid (PLA) in the fabric acts like a binder.
