Master’s studies
The distinctive feature of our approach to Industrial Engineering and Management is that we combine classical industrial engineering, which emphasizes understanding and developing operational processes and complex systems, with a focus on strategic and entrepreneurial leadership. From this perspective, we offer multiple programs, majors, and minors related to Industrial Engineering and Management as well as a wide array of technology-based entrepreneurship and management courses for students from engineering and other disciplines of Aalto University.
We contribute to multiple degree programmes at Aalto University. Our most extensive involvement and closest to our competences are:
Master's Programmes
Information Networks, Master of Science (Technology)
The Master’s Programme in Information Networks educates cross-disciplinary thinkers and innovators with human-centric technological skills. Students gain a comprehensive understanding of the interactions between people and digital technologies and business on an individual, group, organisational and societal level.
Aalto Ventures Program
The best way to predict the future is to build it. We teach students to build like an entrepreneur.
In addition, we offer 7 minors, and are involved in and provide education for multiple other programmes, such as Master’s Programme in International Design Business Management (IDBM), Information and Service Management (BIZ), Medical School and Law School of Helsinki University.
