Espoo Day 2024: Marsio open doors and guided campus tours

On Espoo Day, the residents of Espoo celebrate their city by organising various events. Otaniemi is opening the doors of the brand new Marsio building with its café and the Aalto University Shop for a true sneak peek. You can also take part in campus tours guided by the students.

Want to be among the first to visit Marsio, our new meeting point at campus? Take this opportunity on Saturday 31 August and celebrate Espoo Day like a true forerunner!

While on site, you also have the possibility to update your wider campus knowledge on the free campus tours taking you on a journey to explore some of the finest examples of traditional and contemporary Finnish architecture. Our student guides walk you through the campus’ main hot spots, telling you how our campus was transformed from an ancient village to an innovation hub.

The tours start and finish at the main entrance of Marsio (Otakaari 2). Then make your campus visit perfect by checking out MOO, the latest café addition in the area, and the renewed Aalto University Shop.

Aalto University Shop and the café on the ground floor of the Marsio building are open for the occasion at 11:00–15:00. Drop in whenever suitable for you!
