Marsio

Marsio is a new meeting place on the Aalto University campus right next to the metro station and light rail stop. You can step in anytime and immerse yourself in Aalto’s research and activities – in exhibitions and events, open lectures, movies, the restaurant and the Aalto University Shop.

The building’s name is a tribute to Aino Marsio-Aalto (pictured below/above), a creative pioneer, architect, designer, entrepreneur and Aalto University's alum. Let her inspire you while you experience tomorrow at Marsio today.

How to find there

Marsio is located right in the heart of the campus at Otakaari 2. When coming from the direction of Väre and the metro station (use the exit A towards Otaniementie and the University), walk across Korkeakoulu square and cross the light rail tracks. Marsio is the first building on the left after the tracks. You can also recognise it by the glass corner of the building.

Marsio is in the centre of the picture. On the right is the amphitheatre of Otakaari 1 (Undergraduate Centre). On the left is the Väre building, and the light trail tracks situate between Väre and Marsio. The metro station exit is at the bottom left of the picture.
