Teaching and Learning is a series of training activities aimed at teaching staff, lecturers and faculty in all Unite! partner institutions (including Ph.D. students and postdocs involved with teaching), who are interested in sharing and developing teaching and learning practices. We invite you to meet Unite! colleagues while learning how teaching and learning is promoted at different partner universities.

Learning outcomes:

Become familiar with central concepts from cognitive psychology.

Develop and implement strategies from cognitive psychology into your course design.

Get an insight into how cognitive research about learning is conducted and how to design future studies..

Discuss and practice how key strategies, such as retrieval practice, spaced practice, and concrete examples can promote student learning.
