MAGICS: Methods for Digitising and Virtualising Human Behaviour, Nov 14, 2024
Description
MAGICS is an infrastructure and a community for science and art related to socially sustainable digitalisation and virtualisation. The infrastructure focuses on measuring, analysing and digitising human behaviour and experiences. MAGICS is a joint effort of six Finnish universities – Aalto University, Tampere University, University of the Arts Helsinki, University of Lapland, Turku University of Applied Sciences and University of Jyväskylä. MAGICS Aalto builds on the facilities of Aalto Studios, and Aalto Behavioral Laboratory, part of the Aalto NeuroImaging (ANI) infrastructure. Within Aalto campus, MAGICS offers services including:
- facilities for high-fidelity optical motion capture,
- recording and editing immersive audio,
- XR/VR/AR editing,
- and data collection technologies hosted by the Aalto Behavioral Laboratory, including EEG, EMG, ECG, GSR, Accelerometers, and Thermal camera and Eye Trackers.
Join this webinar for an introduction to MAGICS – its data collection tools and services for researchers. The webinar is also a good way to get to know MAGICS personnel and ask questions and provide feedback.
