Preparing Aalto Graduates to be Responsible and Influential Experts

How to meaningfully integrate relevant sustainability and impact themes into your teaching.

Aalto teachers and programme managers are heartily welcome for a morning of insightful discussions, networking, and the opportunity to gather ideas and inspiration on incorporating sustainability-related topics into their teaching. 

What to Expect:

Short Talks + Discussion: Aalto experts, Jukka Suomela, Kirsi Yliniemi, and Jaan Praks will share experiences and expertise in program planning, course development, and competence building. Each talk will be followed by an open discussion about how to develop in each area.

Moderated Panel Discussion: Aalto experts joined by industry professional Heidi Peltonen, VP of Sustainability, Outokumpu. Together, we'll explore essential questions on sustainability competences, student readiness for future careers, and adapting teaching to changing needs.
