Inspiring encounters in the US: alumni and friends are important in fostering collaboration and radical creativity
Dear Aalto University alumni and friends,
As individuals, organisations and societies, we need creativity more than ever; crises turn us inwards, narrowing mindsets and ways of thinking and doing.
A better – but more demanding – option is to stay curious.
In this spirit, I invite you to the premiere of Radical Creatives, a documentary directed by an Aalto University alum Emilia Hernesniemi, who will be attending the premiere.
With this film, we want to start a conversation about creativity. When creativity is combined with trust and respect for diversity, its innovative power starts to show in teams, organisations, and the world at large. It's only then that we can speak of radical creativity that truly changes the world.
The film is an artistic commission produced by Aalto University. It has received an excellent reception in Finland and, for example, in New York.
The 58-minute screening will be followed by a cocktail reception for networking and meeting with Aalto University representatives.
You are more than welcome to bring a friend. The dress code is business casual.
Looking forward to seeing you at the premiere!
With warm regards,
Ilkka Niemelä, President
