Welcome to participate in the recycling event being organized for the second time! Once again, we are offering an opportunity to bring along any excessive items that might find a new home and purpose.

Join us in supporting a sustainable lifestyle and bring excessive items such as textiles, accessories, shoes, books, and other small items as well as to find treasures left by others!
The recycling point will be open in the main lobby of the Undergraduate Centre throughout the week of October 9th to October 13th, 2023, following the building's opening hours.
If you have textiles that have reached the end of their lifecycle or are otherwise suitable for recycling, you can place them in a separate trolly. However, please note that we do not accept moldy or damp textiles. Small stains are not a problem. Textiles for disposal should ideally be packed in plastic bags. At the end of the event, all remaining textiles and items will be transferred to the Recycling Center, which will handle their sale or other forms of recycling.
Additionally, we provide a recycling box for used lithium batteries and rechargeable batteries. Unfortunately, we cannot accept the recycling of lead-acid batteries electronic devices, and other electrical equipment at the recycling point.
The recycling event is an event organized by the Aalto Sustainable Campus team as a part of the Energy Saving Week, which is celebrated from October 9th to October 15th, 2023.
