The MARSS 2019 conference

The MARSS 2019 conference will be held in July 1-5 at Maarintie 8 in Otaniemi campus. The MARSS conference is an annual International conference on Manipulation, Automation and Robotics at Small Scales. The conference is the flagship forum for cross-disciplinary R&D communities related to manipulation and automation (incl. measurement and characterization) at micro/nano scales as well as to all kinds of small scale robots and their applications. It has deep link with materials, e.g. materials characterization, nanohandling, AFM, molecular robot, bio-hybrid, soft materials, biomaterials, magnetic manipulation, capillary manipulation, microsensors, etc. 
 
We cordially invite you to attend and contribute to the conference. The conference offers 4 Keynote talks, 14 plenary talks and 30-35 technical sessions (oral presentations only). Short papers on MARSS-related topics are invited. The expected number of participants is about 250.

Submission deadline is 15.05.2019 for short papers and special sessions talks/papers. It is also good opportunity for people to attend the conference to find new synergies with other researchers working in related fields.
