Works of art symbolise the importance of donations
In spring 2023, two glass artworks were installed in the lobby of the Väre building, home of the School of Arts, Design and Architecture, to honour the school's donors. The works were created in a collaboration between staff and students, and they reflect the importance of every donation to the creative fields.

Bread for the Coming, a major donor artwork, was inspired by the traditional Finnish bread pole (a way of storing bread) that ‘brings bread to the table’. The work was designed by master's student Liv Telivuo.

Huhta, a small donor artwork, symbolises a coniferous forest that produces a bountiful annual harvest on fertile soil. The work was designed by master's student Sesilia Pirttimaa.
