A business controller has a key role in producing information for business management to support decision-making and the future development of a business. Strategic partnership with management is needed, but this role also requires personal development.
The Business Controller liiketoiminnan strategisena kumppanina (Business Controller as a Strategic Business Partner) program offers a way to develop yourself in your role as a controller and tools to develop your competence and support your company’s operations and work processes. The program focuses on the controller’s role as a supporting partner for management in decision-making and steering the business.
The program will look at the controller's role from different angles: as a team player in the finance function, an expert in financial matters, and an influential business partner for management in producing information to support decision-making. The program will allow networking and exchanging ideas and experiences with other controllers and experts.
During the program, you will develop your business skills and focus on strategic work and strategic planning from a controller’s perspective. You will also develop your role as a financial expert and a partner for management and strengthen your skills in communicating with and influencing other people.
The program has three modules and is held over six days, two days for each module. You will also work on a personal development assignment during the program.
The program is held in Finnish.
Teaching takes place at Aalto EE's premises in Helsinki.
